Plasma

Plasma, also called the “fourth state of matter”, consists of a collection of ions and electrons that is quasi-neutral and exhibits collective behavior.

This behavior is primarily caused due to the electromagnetic interactions between the particles. The degree of interactions will depend on the average density of charged particles to neutral particles.
